Code of Conduct at Poinciana Cricket Club
At Poinciana Cricket Club Inc., we promote a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all members, guests, and participants. This Code of Conduct outlines the standards of behavior expected of every individual associated with the club.

General Conduct Guidelines
- Treat everyone equally, regardless of age, gender, disability, race, religion, background, or beliefs
- Actively oppose discrimination in all forms
- Maintain high standards of personal conduct and sportsmanship
- Promote cricket positively, including fair play and respect for rules
- Encourage learning and following official match rules
- Respect the decisions of match officials
- Discourage arguing, unfair play, or rule violations
- Recognize and support good performance by others
- Ensure dues are paid prior to the start of the season
Squad Selection Policy
- The selection committee will release rosters by Wednesday each week
- Selected players will be notified in advance
- Financial standing may impact selection eligibility
Player Code of Conduct
- Wear proper uniforms for all scheduled matches
- Follow captain and bowler instructions regarding fielding positions
- Remain at the park until the match is over unless excused
- Obtain the captain’s permission before leaving the field during play
- Clear all dues before participating in any match
- Notify the selection committee at least 2 days before a game if unavailable
- Avoid arguing with umpires or violating rules
- Learn and respect the Laws of Cricket
- Uphold dignity and good conduct on and off the field
- Arrive on time and participate in pre/post-match meetings
- Refrain from alcohol, smoking, or banned substances on the field
